PLACES TO EAT AND DRINK ON ARRAN

On the island there are a number of small independents serving food and drink, as well as the larger hotels. Here are some of our recommendations:

The Kinloch

The Kinloch Hotel is a large hotel located a couple of minutes walk from the house.  The food and atmosphere are always brilliant and is somewhere we visit regularly ourselves. As well as the restaurant there is a seperate bar area, and leisure facilities.

Blackwaterfoot Lodge

A small and intimate guest house but also open in the evening for dinner, located 5 minutes walk from the house.

Auchrannie

Located in Brodick, the Auchrannie Resort offers a number of restaurants which are all worth a visit.

Fish and Chips

Fish and Chips are available from Hooked & Cooked near the ferry terminal in Brodick
